Pet Portraits & Commissions

My hand painted watercolour pet portraits are a delightful way to capture the unique character of your beloved companion. Pet portraits can also make a special gift for any pet lover:

 

Painted exclusively on high-quality Arches 100% French, (300 g/m - 140lb) Paper. Portraits can be mounted (recommended), framed or unmounted.

If you would like to get your portrait framed but not sure how or where to go, I am more than happy to give you framing advise on styling and the place to find a frame to suite you.

Medium: Aperture size: 8 x 11.4 inch; Mount outer dimension: 11 x 14 inch.

Large: Aperture size: 12 x 16 inch; Mount outer dimension 16 x 20 inch.

 

Medium: Aperture size: 8 x 11.7inch, Frame outer dimension: 12 x 16inch (30 x 40cm)

Large: Aperture size: 12 x 16inch, Frame outer dimension: 16 x 20inch (40 x 50 cm)

Portraits can include more than one animal; these may be from different photographs (through consultation). 

1. Send me (email) a high-resolution photograph featuring the pet as you wish it to be painted.
2. Photographs should be taken in the best possible light (do not use filters).
3. Avoid moving / blurry images, shadow, closed eyes, or hidden face.
4. Once I have received the picture and I will confirm the time frame for completion.

Portraits can be purchased unmounted, note that these will still have a 0.5cm taped outer edge from being fixed to my painting board: Medium: Approx. 250 x 350mm (9.7 x 13.6 inches); Large: Approx. 310 x 410mm (12 x 16 inches).

 

Portraits normally take 14-28 days to complete depending on demand and complexity and are posted on completion. With my scanning and printing equipment, I can also offer additional high-quality prints of the portrait once it's complete for (A4) £38.50 If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
