Fresh Catch Iridescent Green Mackerel Fine Art Print

A limited-edition print of my hand-painted Watercolour Double Mackerel, reproduced in high quality on luxurious fine art paper.

The natural beauty of these Atlantic Mackerels is masterfully portrayed in fine detail and the use of iridescent paints emphasising their metallic green and silver colouration interspersed with darker tiger stripes. With a simplistic white background, this piece compliments bright and minimalist spaces. 

The Atlantic mackerel is an active, fast-moving fish that must keep in constant motion to bring in enough oxygen to survive! It swims using short movements of the rear of its body and the caudal fin. They form large schools, consisting of individuals of the same relative size, near the ocean surface during all seasons but winter.

Each print is embellished by myself with hand made iridescent paint adding another level to the painting so that it comes to life on your wall.

Prints are available in two sizes, and can be mounted (white mount) or provided framed (frames are black metal frame with Perspex screen). All mounts are titled, labelled with the limited edition number and individually signed by Samantha Frances.
