Midnight Fizz
Three framed abstract art prints are displayed on a white wall above a mid-century modern wooden credenza in a bright, contemporary living room. The prints feature colorful abstract designs: three fish on a black background, an orange tentacle on a dark background, and a red and blue astronaut helmet on a black background.
Three framed vertical art prints displayed side-by-side on a light gray wall. The left print shows a blue octopus with orange tentacles on a black background.

Coral-orange tentacles unfurl across a deep, seductive blue, while white bubbles hang in the darkness like tiny flashes of light. Bold, captivating and full of intrigue, this is an octopus that knows exactly how to hold a room.

Painted with loose, feeling-led brushstrokes, the vivid orange against inky blue creates a striking tension. The bubbles draw your eye in and invite you to look a little closer. The longer you spend with it, the more there is to find.

The octopus has always held a special place in my work. Curious, complex and utterly themselves, they carry a quiet confidence, a reminder that you don’t have to fit the mould to make an impression.

Part of the After Dark collection, three ocean creatures with one electric energy, this is the moodiest, most seductive piece in the series. It’s a statement for those drawn to the unexpected, where colour meets shadow and the ocean shows its more mysterious side.

This one is for the curious soul: the person who looks beyond the obvious, loves a little mystery, and wants art that stays with them long after they’ve looked away.

Available exclusively in person at The Winch Room, Stuart Lines, Exmouth, Devon.
