“Returning Home” is a large-scale whale original exploring the quiet power of the maternal bond.
The composition balances strength and tenderness: the calf sheltered within her wake, guided through vastness. Here, home is not a place, but a presence.
Georgina and I work well as a collaborative, creative dialogue is rooted in a shared belief in the emotional power of colour.
Georgina’s vibrant abstraction and Samantha’s expressive wildlife forms speak to one another — movement meeting meaning. The painting developed through trust and responsiveness, each artist allowing space for the other’s voice, resulting in a piece that carries both energy and stillness.
.At 150cm x 100cm, it commands a space. The richness of depth, texture, and detail cannot be fully captured in photographs; the work shifts and reveals itself as you move before it.
